90th Birthday Party
On Saturday, October 28, 2017, members of the Wawel Folk Ensemble performed at a 90th Birthday Party held in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The Ensemble was a special surprise for the birthday girl. For its performance, Wawel presented suites of dances from Eastern Krakow, Sieradz and its Old Dances from Warsaw. The Old Dances from Warsaw were particularly relevant because the guest of honor's family came from areas around Warsaw. Following the dances members of the Ensemble lead the guests in singing Sto Lat to the guest of honor.
