2014 Pierogi Kickoff
Members of the Wawel Folk Ensemble kicked off the 2014 edition of their annual pierogi sale on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Members of the ensemble arrived at the Cafeteria at St. John Paul II Church in Detroit, Michigan to begin assembling the tasty treats which are then sold throughout the holidays. Despite having a smaller work crew than expected, the ensemble still managed to churn out approximately 125 dozen pierogi.
