Polish Folk Dance Festival
On Saturday, February 28, 2015, the Wawel Folk Ensemble performed at the Eight Annual Polish Folk Dance Festival held at the American Polish Cultural Center in Troy, Michigan. This annual event brings together all Metro-Detroit Area (both children's and adult) Polish Folk Dance Ensembles for an afternoon of folklore. Wawel has participated in this event since its inception. At the eight annual festival, Wawel presented its Cieszyn and Biłgoraj suites.
Wawel's next appearance is on March 15, 2015 at St. Hyacinth Church in Detroit, Michigan as part of its annual blessing of the Polish Folk Dance Ensembles.

My girls and I only were able to see a few dances but it was beautiful! Was great to sit up close and show some of our heritage to my daughters, Ashley and Katie. Now they could see what I've been talking about. Felt so good to see Marcia, Donna and Tom. Sorry I missed David P. and was that Chuck I saw??!!! xxoo
