Mt. Clemens Elks’ Club Polish Night
On Friday, October 4, 2013, members of the Wawel Folk
Ensemble performed at the Mt. Clemens Elks’ Club Polish Night. For the performance, Wawel debuted its suite
of songs and dances from Kasëbë, it also presented its suites of dances from
Sieradz, and Biłgoraj along with its Polka Warszawska, and Wawel’s new polka.
Following the performance, members of the ensemble
continued at the Elks’ club and participated in Friday night karaoke. A good time was had by all.
Wawel’s next appearance will be at the annual Friends of
Polish Art Wigilia held in December.
