Wawel Folk Ensemble

Wawel capped off its last long weekend of the summer by participating in the annual Polish Day Parade in Hamtramck, Michigan.  The parade, which is sponsored by the Polish American Congress Michigan Division was part of the Monday activities for the 32nd Annual Hamtramck Festival held in Hamtramck, Michigan.  The parade featured numerous other metro Detroit area Polish folk ensembles, Polish organizations, and other ethnic associations and dance groups, marching bands, civic organizations and local and regional politicians.
