Happy New Year - 2007!
Wawel held its first practice of 2007 on January 17, 2007. In addition to running through the Polonez, Cieszyn, Lowicz and Zywiec, Wawel welcomed a very special guest to its practice.
Keith Famie, celebrity chef, documentary film maker, and former Survivor contestant visited practice to collect footage for his upcoming documentary about Polish Americans in Detroit.

Celebrity Chef, Keith Famie2007 should be another exciting year for Wawel. The group will travel to Chicago in July for the PFDAA Festival. Also on the 2007 performance calendar are appearances at Transfiguration Parish's Mardi Gras in February, St. Hyacinth's blessing of Polish Folk Ensemble mass in March and an appearance at Milwaukee, Wisconsin's annual Polish Fest. More events will follow as the year progresses
