PNA Piknik - 28 July 2013
On Sunday, July 28, 2013, members of the Wawel Folk Ensemble
performed at PNA Council 122’s annual picnic at Wanda Park in Sterling Heights,
Michigan. While it may have been a cool
day for the pool, it was a perfect day for dancing. At the performance, Wawel presented its
Sieradz and Biłgoraj suites along with its Polka Warszawszka, and its Saxonet
Polka. Following the performance members
of the ensemble spent the afternoon enjoying delicious Polish meals from the
Polish kitchen and listening to Muza Mix.
Wawel’s next performance is August 11, 2013 at Sweetest
Heart of Mary Church in Detroit, Michigan’s annual Pierogi Festival.
